			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>1-<strong> Distribute the Fundraising With Portrait Flyers and Hang Posters</strong><br />
6 to 8 weeks  before your photo date, place posters in high traffic locations and send home flyers with everyone who has volunteered to help with the program.</p>
<p>2- <strong>Advertise Your Fundraising With Portraits Event</strong><br />
Write the date, location, name, and phone number on the posters and put them up in<br />
several places, such as:<br />
- around your organization<br />
- at your school<br />
- local shopping area<br />
- see FAQ for other suggestions</p>
<p>3 – <strong>Make appointments for your Fundraising With Portraits Event</strong><br />
Families will call or send their coupon to the Event Coordinator  requesting an appointment.  Use a pencil to make these appointments as people tend to change their minds as the date of the Shoot nears.</p>
<p>• Assign each family a 15 minute appointment time as close as possible to their request and<br />
record their name and phone number on the appointment sheet provided families must pay first to obtain an appointment.</p>
<p>• Send an appointment reminder to the family</p>
<p>• Keep your appointments condensed as much as possible</p>
<p>• Reserve 30 minutes to an hour during the middle of the day to provide the<br />
photographer/portrait passer a meal break. (Sat/Sun only)</p>
<p>4 – <strong>The Photography Shoot Day</strong></p>
<p>The hard part is over.</p>
<p>• Location- For the photography room, we will need an open space of at least<br />
20ft x 40 ft with a minimum ceiling height of 9ft and an easily accessible<br />
power outlet. Ideally there will be few or no windows. We will also need<br />
access to bathroom facilities. Places that have worked well at other schools<br />
would be: a classroom, the media center, gymnasium, or cafeteria.</p>
<p>• Location-For the viewing room, we need a separate room that is at least 8&#215;8 foot,<br />
two 6 or 8 foot tables, six chairs, and an easily accessible power outlet.   It is best to<br />
have a private room for the portrait viewings.</p>
<p>• Meet the photographer 2 hours before the first appointment.</p>
<p><strong>Answers to frequently asked questions</strong></p>
<p>• You keep the full $20 donated by each family.</p>
<p>• We require a minimum of 25 families for one day or 50 for 2 days to be paid and<br />
scheduled before we can send a photographer. A final decision will be made 1<br />
week prior to your photography day.</p>
<p>• This special fundraising offer is for a FAMILY portrait! Children must be<br />
photographed with a parent or a legal guardian.</p>
<p>• Our special Fundraising Offer is limited to <em>one coupon per family</em>. No adult or child<br />
may appear more than once in this family portrait special.</p>
<p>• Each family portrait session will include a variety of poses &#8211; family, children,<br />
parents, or any special requests.</p>
<p>• <strong>Other advertising suggestions</strong></p>
<p>- Marquee in front of organization<br />
- Tell everyone to invite friends<br />
- Advertise in weekly newsletter<br />
- Use your automated phone or e-mail service<br />

<p>• Additional portraits will be available to order or purchase on the viewing dayi including<br />
canvas wall portraits, framing and Holidays Cards.</p>
<p>• <strong>Organizations receives a commission on the additional sales</strong></p>
<p>- 50 families photographed – 3%<br />
- 100 families photographed- 5%<br />
- 150 families photographed- 7%<br />
- 200 families photographed- 10%</p>
<p>• <strong>We want to thank The Coordinator for all their hard work</strong></p>
<p>- 50 families- whole package free<br />
- 75 families- also upgrade to framed 11 x 14 canvas portrait<br />
- 100 families- also upgrade to 25 4 x 7 Holiday Cards<br />
